FREE INTERNET CONNECTION AT JNMIH, NAMCHI BY WEBEL-ISP & SUBHAM CABLE TV

NAB-Sikkim would lke to thank Webel-ISP for providing a free internet connection at JNMIH-Namchi. This will go a long way in helping the students of the school to have access to useful information.

The National Association for the Blind Sikkim, Sikkim Branch, was established in 1983 under the auspices of the NAB, India.  This voluntary association was constituted for the welfare, training and rehabilitation of the visually challenged children of thigh the state in absence of any other such ortganisation.  Initially, the activities of the association was confined to fund collection which were utilized for the welfare of the such children and youth.  During 1987, the association established the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Institute for the Handicapped at Namchi, South Sikkim.  This pioneer institute imparts for all round development of the visually challenged children of the State.
